Broward Health, formally known as North Broward Hospital District,  is the new name for the county wide medical hospital complex that is comprised of hospitals all over the county, including Coral Springs Medical Center.   It is the fifth largest medical system in the US.  Their services are integrated between hospitals - not just  standalone hospitals. The hospital district is expanding emergency room capability - currently they are dealing with over 50,000 patients per year.  And the district is spending over $32 million for new cancer fighting technology.
