Not one but TWO, count 'em two speakers today.  There is a roumor that we may have to start meeting an hour earlier just in case Prez Drew decides to have 4 or 5 speakers in the future  :-)

First up was Jody Sampson of Harvest Drive with whom we worked in the fall.  Today she spoke of another project, March for the Hungry.  Last year her group was able to garner 12,000 pounds of food and they had 33 schools enrolled to help collect.  Their motto is "Every child can feed a hungry child".  The drive will run from April 9 to 16th.

Next up was Joan Kohl from the Sawgrass Nature Center.  After years of uncertainty, delays, revised locations and plans, the Nature Center is finally opened on five acres near the Sportsplex.    It contains a wetland, hospital and learning center.  Eighty per cent of the center is open to the public.
