The meeting started out with John Congemi giving his monthly state of the school report for Douglas High.  Preparation is on going for the ever dreaded FCATs and he reported that the Ethical Seminar this year will be on April 17.  In its 19th year one hundred ten seniors from Douglas will attend the event at the Heron Bay Marriott.

The Senior of the Month for February was introduced - Nicole Gilski.  She is very active in the school's ROTC program and drill team.  She has organized blood drives and on her time away from school works at a hospice center.  She has a 4.71 GPA and intends to go to FSU and major in psychology.   We hope she comes back after graduation as there are a number of us who could use analysis.

Our main speaker today was John Brandt of the Miami Dolphins.  He gave us a little update on what was happening with the team and its new staff, and with a 1-16 record there is a lot that needs to happen.  He also spoke of various game packages which are available for groups, large and small, and we will look in to doing a social even at an upcoming game.
