Second Quasi-annual Karaoke Social

Chez Weinstein

Not to let the screeching and other noises created at last year's event, our merry band of warblers gathered yet again for a night of karaoke.  Special thanks are due to Barbara and Peter Weinstein for hosting the event (not to mention the terrific spread of food mostly prepared by Barbara) and thanks, too, to the Baranowski's for their karaoke equipment with an apparent limitless selection of songs to ruin.

The only thing missing was Mladen and his slivovitz!  :-)

We also "entertained" some guests from Germany - Ralf and Sylvia Kleint, parents of our exchange students Charly and Conny.  They even got into the singing - and didn't need liters of schnapps to do it either!

Good food

Great company

Miss Pat renewing friendships with the Kleints

They get happier later

And the singing begins

Warming up

Trying to get some to sing

There were some weenies sitting next to the TV but with no microphone

Still trying to get Sylvia to sing

Checking out the selections

More weenies - this time in the kitchen

And still "singing"

Now with company

And where is the microphone?

THE KLEINTS SING!

They know the words in GERMAN!

Uh oh!

Sounded like Bruce Springsteen on some really bad drugs

Still singing at the end
