Child Safety Day

The program today was presented by Dana Josephson of the law firm of McFarlane and Dolan, one of the sponsors of Child Safety Day.  This will be the second such effort after last year's resounding success when over 700 people attended (they expected 300).  This year it will be bigger and better, and will be in the format of an Expo and will be held at the Parkland YMCA.

It is expected that the governor will make an appearance, along with the mayors of Coral Springs and Parkland, as well as State and United States Representatives and Senators.  It was stressed that there will be no political speeches permitted.

Also assuming sponsorship and participatory rolls will be Broward Sheriff's Office, Cities of Coral Springs and Parkland, Coral springs Police, U.S Immigration and Customs, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Coral Springs Fire Department, Coral Springs Medical Center and a host of other agencies, businesses and community organizations.
