Great headline there - but ever throw a party an nobody came?  Well this was the first day of school after Spring Break, and our Senior didn't show!  Oh well.  The assistant principal did, Ty Thompson, and he had a great breakfast!

And our speaker didn't show either.  But not to worry!  Into the lurch jumped Don Schumacher, not to be confused with our member Joe Schumaker. (There was some discussion about lineage after the meeting between them, by the way.)

Don has lived a very interesting life with varied career paths.  He has worked in photography, photographic equipment, for GAF, for electronics companies and traveled all over the country.  And some positions had him away from home for weeks on end, a bit tough on family life.  But now he is settled here in South Florida and works in commercial real estate - and we hope he will join us as a member soon.  Can't have too many Schumachers - or Schumakers!
