The meeting started with Ty Thompson introducing the October Senior of the Month at Douglas.  Ariana Levy has won a commendation from National Merit and is a member of the National Art Honor Society.  In addition to her interest in art she does service work at SOS Children's Village.  She will be attending Savanna College of Art and Science on a full scholarship.

Next we saw excellent presentations by the GSE team from Peru.  Each had a powerpoint about themselves and their families and professions, followed by a well done video giving an overview of Peru.  Thanks to Al Hoffer and Tom Pratt, and families, for housing the team for several days, and to Pat Short, Tom Pratt, Terry Witcher and Todd Finkel for arranging vocational days for the team.
