Dentistry from the Heart

We had the good fortune to day of hearing from one of our past club presidents - George Green.  George is a local dentist, and his office, in conjunction with other sponsors and volunteers is preparing for its first "Dentistry From the Heart" day on, as one might guess, February 14th.  The goal is to treat as many indigent and needy individuals as they can in one day.  Helping provide the services and support are the Dental Assisting students and the Culinary Arts students at Atlantic Technical Center, the local Fraternal Order of Police lodge, Metro Broward Fire Fighters, and Michelle King and Susan Tretakis.

Patients must be over the age of 12  (accompanied by a parent or guardian if under 18) and the only donations being asked for from the community is food to feed the staff and patients, and help in transporting those who otherwise do not have transportation available to them.
