JANUARY 23, 2001 MEETING

Our usually intrepid "Photo Joe" did remember to bring his camera - but forgot the digital flash card, so there is no picture of our speaker Kathy Byrne, Community Relations Director of Coral Springs Medical Center.  A great talk about the services available at CSMC as well as the other North Broward Hospital District hospitals (North Broward, Imperial Point and Broward General.  A lively discussion was had about medical expenses, HMOs, PPOs and other stuff like that.  The hospital has lots of programs available to the general public, some for free and some with small fees.  Run out to your local hospital NOW!

Prez Carl spoke about the recent Board meeting where it was voted to donate $1,000 to the Guatemala Tomorrow Fund, and discussed possible beneficiaries of our annual golf tournament.
