SENIOR OF THE MONTH PAUL HARRIS FELLOWS
The day started with our honorary member, John Congemi, introducing the January Senior of the Month, this month being Logan Smith. John extolled Logan's virtues and thereafter Logan gave an idea of his future plans, which included attending FSU (and that elicited some low volume hissing from the crowd.) John also gave us an update about what is going on at Douglas High School, including plans for the new stadium and the hopes that the beginning phases will be done for use at the beginning of the next football season.
After that presentation Al Sherman was in his element when he introduced Assistant District Governor and our friend Doug Maymon who presented five - count 'em five - new or additional Paul Harris Fellows - Andy Banks, George Green and Terry Witcher each getting their second level, and Prez Paul Marineau and Bruce Goodman getting their first. Al is doing one hell of a job as Foundation Chair and is trying to beat what George did several years ago!!
