CLUB ASSEMBLY NEW MEMBER - SEBASTIAN GALLINA
The business part of the meeting with finally inducting our newest member, Sebastian Gallina under the classification of Insurance. It would have been done some weeks ago but with holiday schedules, being out of town, ya da ya da ya da. Anyway Sebastian was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Beach Rotary Club a few years ago, but now his business and residence has moved west and we now have another set of working hands!
It was announced at the club assembly that we are for sure doing Eagle Trace for our Tournament. Turns out the Parkland Country Club was going to "help" us by charging more, moving our date and allowing less golfers. DUH!
It was also decided that we are going to add another $1,000 scholarship to senior high school students who are residents of Coral Springs and Parkland but not attend public school. Gotta work harder to raise the bucks folks!! |
