FIRST CONTACT

So you get into an elevator and what do you say.  OK, forget that - what does the AVERAGE person say??  The speaker today, Millard Longman, spoke about what he described as an "elevator speech" that one should develop, practice and refine, and then use to introduce one's self to unknown others as a manner of introduction and self-promotion.  He gave numerous examples of what should not be said, and provided all with a brochure he prepared for our meeting entitled "FIRST CONTACT - What to say after hello".  This neat little handbook has all kinds of tips and suggestions to help one improve basic business skills.  And all this from a guy who is also a magician, engineer and holder of several patents!!  His web site is www.psychic-skills.com so check it out!!
