Nurse Rached

Our Own Pat Short-Hornsby

MEMBERSHIP!!

Prez Drew's idea of a once a month Rotary Informational/Club Assembly meeting was kicked off by our own Nurse Rached, the charming and vivacious Pat Short-Hornsby who is not known for taking prisoners.  Decked out in the uniform du jour, Pat gave a great talk about membership in our organization - a great primer for the newbies and the old farts as well.  'Cause as the saying goes, "The rules have changed".

The lifeblood of any club is obviously the members, and as members leave, for many reasons, new blood is needed to replace the old.  A discussion was had about not only how to attract new members, but how we need to have new member "socials" to keep all members, new and old, updated on the rules of membership of our organization, and make all aware that this is a SERVICE organization and service to the community is the primary goal.

GREAT job Pat!!

OTHER STUFF

Prez Drew announced that we were asked to sponsor a NEW Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of Weston Sundown, and it was passed unanimously.  It is a great honor to sponsor a new club and we certainly wish them well.  One of the driving forces is Doug Maymon, an Assistant District Governor and our swearererinner at our installation banquet.

Are they getting this??

THE ACE

Guess who got the ace??  Our own Paul Marineau who JUST HAPPENS to hand out the tickets.

Coincidence???  Or is it......................SATAN??????
