No accounting for stupidity

In a deft and clever move, your ace cub photographer managed to edit, crop, refocus, adjust brightness, contrast, saturation and then promptly DELETE the pictures of our speaker, Carl Hill.  Applications for a new photog are now being taken.

  South Florida Blood Bank.

The speaker today was Carl Hill of the South Florida Bloodbank, one of two in the Dade - Broward area supplying blood to local hospitals.  Carl spoke of September 11th's effect on the blood supply and blood gathering activities - at first there was a groundswell of support; later there was a reaction to over collection in the first days after September 11th that resulted in much of the collected blood having to be destroyed as being out of date.  That did not happen here as his bank collected only what was expected to be needed and turned others away to avoid that situation.  An Air Force officer for many years, Carl was in charge of mobile hospitals that saw the Gulf War and other fronts as well.

Starting to collect stuff for the goodie bags and final course arrangements are being made.

Need players, hole sponsors and the like.  The countdown has begun.
