The Camerata of The Florida Grand Opera Thanks to Al Sherman we had a really cool, high tech presentation by Davie Yuen from the Camerata of the Florida Grand Opera. The group was formed as an educational arm of the opera, and sessions are held to make Florida residents aware of opera and the inner working of it. At these events individuals like singers, conductors and other artisans appear to discuss various aspects of the art form and to make opera more interesting and more comprehendible by the general public.
Not only was the subject matter interesting, even to the otherwise ill informed, the video presentation by David was great!
Most amazing comment was by Prez Drew who indicated that he is a regular visitor to the opera. Didn't realize there is one that serves beer and popcorn! |
