Senior of the Month

and

Club Assembly

Today before the Club Assembly we heard from John Congemi about what is going on at Douglas High School.  FCAT is over, the stadium is progressing and awards night was two days after our meeting.  Graduation can not be far behind.

John then introduced the Senior of the Month, Tony Rizzo who is an All State first baseman with a 3.6 GPA.  He will be attending FAU this fall on a full scholarship.

Also introduced today was Lauren Rosa, our stellar Interact Advisor.  Every Interact club should have such a dedicated advisor!  And it was proudly announced that the Interact Club, in conjunction with several other clubs at Douglas, raised the most money at the Souper Bowl for Hunger, and will be treated to a tour of the Miami Dolphins facility and will meet players and staff.  The now svelte Lauren was too fast to be photographed!

The balance of the meeting was planning for the upcoming golf tournament - the countdown has started!
