We were kind of suffering from the pre-holiday, post golf tournament doldrums today.  But we had some youth here to cheer us up.

Continuing a tradition started this year John Congemi presented Mercedes Vaughn, the Senior of the Month from Douglas.  She is a well rounded student with lots of service and proudly announced she will be going to college in Texas.  Asked why there - that is where her Mom went.  Her Mom, Robin and a Douglas teacher, smiled broadly in our audience.

Then came Stephan who had a Host Mom, Penny Madden, smiling in the audience.  Stephan reported on his year and how well he had been doing in his swimming.  He will be returning home on June 4th for the German National Swimming Trials.  We wished him luck.

The St. Andrews project, under the leadership of Warren Goodman, and spearheaded by Troop 360, turned out great.  Pictures later.
