The results of the hard work and sweat from our fund raisers were seen in person with the awarding of the balance of the 2007 Scholarships.  The winners are below.

 

We also had the pleasure of inducting anther new member - Andy Baranowski  under the classification Global Satellite Imagery.

Alina Ali

Interact Winner - Douglas

 

Will be attending Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and will be studying animal science.  Would like to be a veterinarian.  Started a club at Douglas "Future Animal Professionals of America".

Elizabeth Chenoweth

Coral Springs Charter School

 

Wishing to be a neurosurgeon, Liz will be attending Southeastern University in Lakeland, Fl.  At the Charter School she started a mentoring program where Seniors would mentor incoming freshmen to help them adjust to high school.

Allison Friendly

Coral Springs High

 

Allison will be heading to New Orleans to attend Tulane University where she will study Jazz Vocal Performance.  She started a program for students to visit housing for the elderly to perform as music therapy for the residents.

Nadia Ouhib

Deerfield High International Baccalaureate Program

 

With a goal of being a biomedical engineer Nadia will be attending Boston University.  She coordinated the donation of soccer equipment and shipping it to Algeria, her father's native country, to aid needy kids there.

President Elect Drew does a yeoman job inducting Andy Baranowski.
