First Scholarship Winner Jill Goldstein
Our first scholarship was presented today to Jill Goldstein, daughter of Steve Goldstein, a former member and President of this club. Anyone thinking that nepotism was involved need only take a peek at Jill's scholarship application. In service hours alone she "admitted" to over 1,200. She hinted there were many more. And she missed awards night as she was serving as a program director for a program for blind kids at a week long camp in North Carolina, And she could not make it to our regular scholarship meeting as she is leaving to be a camp counselor the day after graduation. And, oh yeah, she is going to NYU!
