New Member, New PHF!  And Da Gov!

We had the honor of two inductions today and the pleasure of District 6990 Governor Roland Benson doing the honors!  First Roland inducted our newest member, Chantel Leconte, into our ranks.  Chantel, a working visitor for many weeks, is the COO of the Coral Springs Medical Center.  We know that she will be a great asset to the club and has been charged to do so by the Gov!

Then the Gov inducted Drew Monaghan into the ranks of being a Paul Harris Fellow.  Drew is one of our newest members and it is a great thing to see a new member take on this opportunity.

Also in attendance was Lauren Rosa, our Interact advisor at Douglas High School.  Lauren has really charged up the kids this year and they were involved in many activities, including raising over $1,500 for phone cards for soldiers overseas to be able to call home for Mother's and Father's Day.  The vast majority of Interact members are underclassmen so we are looking forward to good things next year.  And thanks go to Tom Pratt as our clubs Interact advisor.

And as if all of that were not enough we have the pleasure of having Rajesh Vaidya visit us from the Three Kings Club in Auckland, New Zealand  - he even presented his with his club's banner!
