Outbound Jillian Flon returns

Hard to believe, but the once shy student we sent to Finland has returned home after a year abroad, and the changes are obvious - a much more confident and self-assured Jillian Flon address the club and showed a powerpoint presentation of her year.  While living in a town of 8,000 inhabitants and being 2 1/2 hours from the "big city" (50,000) had some slow times, cold days and nights followed by days with no nights, she was able to get out of town to visit Lapland (and Santa), St. Petersburg, Russia, Estonia, and let's not forget THE EURO TOUR, which included stops in several European countries by 100 Youth Exchange students in three busses.  Click HERE for map of tour.

We heard about her 700 student school, her three host families and a lot of the culture and new things she got to experience - the year of a lifetime.
