HOLIDAY TIME IS A COMIN'
To those of "us" that made it the day after a long weekend we heard speaker Linda Hanson, Education Director for the Coral Springs Center for the Arts. In addition to her position at the City Center she is also the Chairman of the Coral Springs Philharmonic Society's Holiday House Event. Each year local business and charitable organizations decorate Christmas trees for public display and to raise awareness for the Society. This event also gives the charitable groups an opportunity for fundraising and public awareness, and the trees are thereafter sold, or donated, and in some instances the proceeds are donated to the Philharmonic Society. We have been invited to participate in this event; another chance at a fundraiser. |
