The program today was Charly Kleint and Stephan Mroczek, our two exchange students from Germany. This is the first time we have hosted two students in the same year. Charly is from Hannover and she gave us great detail about not only the city of Hannover, but some of the political structure of her country. She is currently staying with Rafael and Carmen Garcia whose son, Javier, is in Taiwan. Stephan is here from the city of Nuess, Germany and he told us about his hometown and what it has to offer. Being into sports we found out that there is a lot of sporting activity going on in his area. Did we say he likes sports?? Stephan is very much into swimming and trains six times a week, three hours a day!! Great presentations by both, and they will be back. Our cruisers reported on the District conference aboard the Majesty of the Seas this past weekend.
Don't forget!! Bowlathon on Octover 25 and Terrorism Symposium on November 12th. |
