A great meeting!

Our speaker today was Ellen Liston, the Assistant City Manager of Coral Springs.  Ellen gave an interesting presentation about the "Sterling Criteria", a management criteria originally prepared for industry but now adopted by some, but not many cities, Coral Springs being one of the original ones and the first city to win the award in 1997.

During a detailed presentation, the organizational performance of the city was detailed and how such performance was measured was explained.  Every facet of the city government is analyzed with the end goal that residents feel that they get their taxpayer dollar's worth.
