The meeting began with a brief moment of silence in memory of Jack Fine, friend and supporter of our club, and Rotarian who had perfect attendance for 45 years. We will miss his humor and criticism alike. |
Today's program was Mike Kappelman, a medical student at Washington University (St. Louis) and a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar to Sydney, Australia. Mike spent 10 months abroad before returning home to Hollywood, Florida. He gave an interesting program discussing not only the Scholarship program, but his genetic research done while abroad as well as his Rotary and Roteract activities while in Austrailia.
