Student of the Month, among other things

Senior of the Month from Douglas, Ben Dickens was introduced by Assistant Principal John Congemi this morning.  Ben is a member of the . National Honor Society, Math Club (two years' in a row math competition champs), plays football and is a track star (pole vaulter (who came in 3rd in states with a 13'6" last year and he's going for 15" this year). He has applied for early decision at Stanford and regular decision at several other highly rated schools -- Rensalear,  Harvard and a few other shoddy schools :-)  He plans to major in engineering.  He even wore a tie and everything.

Bowlathon was a great time and made about $1,600!!  Better than a poke in the eye.  Profits were higher than they could have been due to a certain beer consuming member being out of town.
