Renan Portelinha, Brazil

We had the pleasure of hearing our Exchange Student Renan Portelinha, our Inbound student from Brazil - our 16th consecutive inbound exchange student going back to 1991.  TAKE THAT, WESTON!!!

Renan (pronounced Henan in Portugese) is from California - a city in the State of Parana, Brazil.  According to Renan it is a VERY, VERY small town.    We are talking a main street less than 1/2 mile long!  We are talking "culture shock" for him here! 

But he is having  a great time going to Pompano High School and staying currently with Petter and Billie Syse whose son Bjorn is our Outbound student to  - you guessed it - Brazil!
