OK, not much happened today.  Drew XVII made an attempt at an invocation - luckily he finished before the food got cold.

He was lauded however, seriously, for he and Sara's agreement to host our exchange student, Renan, from Brazil.  With Sara there are a lot of Brazilian connections in the family and all in the family are looking forward to the home stay.  But we know he will be missed by the Syse family, his current hosts.

Dan Barr was picked as the speaker because he was the only non-member in attendance.  Actually Dan is with the Cub and Boy Scouts and was at the meeting to get the Charter Organization form signed by our "Chief Executive Officer" and despite many offers to forge Prez Tom's address Dan wisely demurred.
