Javier Returns

Back by popular demand (and the fact that we had no other speaker was purely coincidental) our Outbound Exchange Student to Taiwan, Javier Garcia, was our guest speaker.    Javier filled us in on his doings since his return, from working at Greek and Chinese restaurants, to his college career (he got his first A!) to his current position as a fund raiser for a local politician.  He has also been invited to speak in front of some Chinese audiences (in Chinese) and has done remarkably well.  He is soon off to Venezuela to study anatomy and then this spring he is going back to Taiwan for three months of intensive training in reading and writing Chinese.  Also in the audience was Rafael Garcia, Javier's dad, who again expressed thanks for the opportunity given to Javier.  We know he will be back again as he has yet to bring the banner from his host club!  :-)
