WE FOOLED 'EM AGAIN!
At a club assembly today Prez Paul reported on the recent District Conference held at Hawk's Cay on Duck Key. He really did show up, as did Todd Dayton. Proof of Paul's attendance is to the left - Todd was quicker'n a bunny so no picture.
Prez Paul presented Ex Prez Drew with two awards from Drew's year. Announced as the "Lend a Hand Award" (which had the assembled multitude confused) Drew was actually presented with a Presidential Citation and reacted pretty much the same way as when Ex Prez Dennis Parker got our first such citation - "What the hell is that?" Also presented was an award for sponsoring the new Weston Sunset club. Each of these would be posted on the Virtual Wall of our web site, if we had one. And wearing the Scarlet Letter this week (an L for LOOOOOOOSER) is the aforementioned Todd Dayton. With a 1 in 3 chance of pulling the Ace of Hearts Todd managed to not do so!
