New Member Orientation

January 9, 2003

Having inducted several new members over the past few months the Rotary Club of Coral Springs - Parkland decided to host a new member orientation and invite prospective members as well as other clubs in the area.  The event was hosted by Past President Gloria Rossomano and Community Bank of Broward.  We were privileged to have Past Club President, Past District Governor, Past Rotary International Director, and Current "Nobody" Bob Menconi provide a very informative presentation on the history and structure of Rotary as well as a wealth of information about the organization and its worldwide efforts.

Assistant District Governor Doug Maymon with Gloria and President Elect Drew Bartoszak

The main attraction; speaker and Rotary educator talks about becoming a "Rotarian", not just a member of a Rotary Club

A little background - he has them on the edge of their seats!

A great Power Point presentation

Thank you, Bob, for a tremendously informative presentation about Rotary.  No matter how many years the attendees had in Rotary, everyone came away with a better understanding of the organization, its structure, purpose and world wide efforts.
